- The Key Light - is the most powerful light out of the three, strengthens your shadows, intensify/ darkens shadows
- Fill Light - fills the light in the shadows. The fill light should be less strong than the Key Light

- Neutral Density Filter - a black sheet of acetate which could add a bit of shadow
- Hair Light - lights up the hair which is opposite to the Key Light. Helps separate the background
- Replace gels with red/ blue for different effects
- Keep ISO as low as possible
- The aperture should always be 50
- MF means Manual Focus
